What are the benefits of working with a VA?

How do I know if I need a virtual assistant?

What can I outsource to a VA?

Just some of the questions I hear people ask. Get in touch if you can’t find the answer you’re looking for below, I’ll be happy to help.

  • A VA allows you to concentrate on your business and clients without having to worry about admin and other time-consuming tasks
  • You save time and money!
  • Virtual Assistants are flexible and only paid for the hours worked
  • There are no costs associated with an employee – recruitment fees, payroll costs and employee benefits
  • You don’t need to provide workspace or equipment
  • A VA is highly skilled with experience in many systems so little to no training is needed

I work remotely from my own office and we can communicate however you wish; email, phone, messenger or any other online platform you may use.

There are lots of different software and automation available these days, making remote working much simpler.

There’s no need to search Google for “Virtual Assistant near me.”

I’m based in West Yorkshire but, as I work remotely, I support tradespeople across the UK.

For standard VA services, I charge £35 per hour.

Retainer packages starting at 5 hours a month are available, please see my pricing page for more details.

For pay-as-you-go, there is a minimum charge of 2 hours. Time tracking software rounds up or down to the nearest 15 minutes after the 2 hours.

If you’ve booked a retainer package and more hours are needed, this will be agreed before any additional work is done.

A retainer package guarantees you the number of hours you have purchased each month.

My packages start from 5 hours. (Please see my pricing page)

Your package will be invoiced on the 1st of every month. This is payable in advance.

A maximum of 2 hours can be transferred to the following month and we will work together to make sure you’re not paying for too many hours. i.e. if you’re only using 7 or 8 hours a month, we’ll downgrade a 10-hour package.

If additional hours are worked, these will be charged at the same rate and billed at the end of the month.

Retainers are on a monthly rolling contract and if you need to cancel, we just need a month’s notice.

My normal working hours are 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. (Not Bank Holidays)

You can contact me by email 24/7 and, whilst I may sometimes reply, please be mindful that you might not get a response outside of my office hours. I have a family and other commitments too. 😊

Yes. Once we’ve agreed on how we’ll be working together, I will send you a “Welcome” email confirming everything.

Work will only start once the contract, data protection agreement and my t & c’s are signed.

I’m also happy to sign an NDA if required.

Yes, the minimum is 2 hours.

A typical month is roughly 20 working days.

If an hour a day is likely to cover the tasks you want to hand over, then we’ll go for 20 hours a month.

If you’re not sure, we’ll start with a 5 or 10 hour package and review/increase this as needed.

Firstly, I ask that you fill out the contact form or drop me an email with a little about your business and your requirements.

I’ll be in touch soon after to arrange a free 15-30 minute call so we can learn a little more about each other or if you’d prefer, we can continue via email.

Yes. Priority is given to clients who work on a retainer package as I have guaranteed them an agreed number of hours each month.

I organise my workload so that each client receives the best level of service at all times.

My reputation is as important as yours so it’s not in my interest to take on too much.

Not normally. However, I realise that sometimes you may need cover for holidays or sickness leave so, if you are local to the Bradford/Halifax area, we can discuss this.

Mileage expenses and travelling time will apply.

My preferred method is bank transfer.

For clients who pay as they go, I invoice monthly in arrears on the 1st of every month.

Clients who purchase a retainer package are invoiced in advance on the 1st of the month.

My payment terms for both are ‘on receipt of invoice.’

For new clients, my payment terms are 50% of the estimated bill amount to be paid in advance.
